Groundworks Youth & Family Hub

By 25/08/2016

Groundworks Youth & Family Hub

Groundworks Youth & Family Hub is a great place where young people can find out useful information, meet other young people, and get involved in a range of fun activities and learn new skills. We are located in Harbour Drive, in the city centre of Coffs Harbour.

Groundworks run a range of activities for young people aged between 12 and 24.

These include:

Youth Week Events – Coffs Coast Talent Thrash

The Talent Thrash is an opportunity to celebrate the many and varied talents of our young people and is organised by Blue Sky Groundworks Youth & Family Hub and headspace Coffs Harbour, with the support of other local youth services.

Youth of the Year Awards

The Coffs Harbour Youth Awards is an initiative of Blue Sky Community Services’ Groundworks Youth & Family Hub. This is an exciting opportunity for young people to be publicly acknowledged for the many positive contributions they make to our community. The Awards also enable young people and peers to recognise and publicly thank youth workers, coaches, teachers or any other professionals who have supported or inspired young people to make a positive difference in their lives.

Be Young & Proud

BYP is a support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender diverse, intersex, queer and questioning (LGBTIQA+) youth. It’s a private group that creates a safe space to meet and talk with others, to gain support and information, to find out what’s on and to make new friends.
