2020 Coffs Coast Talent Thrash – Entries close at 5pm on Friday, 26th June, 2020

Overview:

The Coffs Coast Talent Thrash is a 2020 Youth Week event.  It was originally scheduled for April as part of the BU Festival to be held in Coffs Harbour, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Talent Thrash is now ONLINE. The Talent Thrash is an opportunity to celebrate the many and varied talents of our young people. The Talent Thrash has been organised by Blue Sky Groundworks Youth Centre and headspace Coffs Harbour, with the support of other local youth services.

 
Who Can Enter:

Anyone aged between 12 to 25 years who lives in the Coffs Harbour City Council, Bellingen Shire or the Nambucca Shire (anywhere between Red Rock to the north, west to Dorrigo and south to Macksville).

You can be a: musician, magician, poet, dancer, rapper, juggler, comedian, singer or have any other awesome talent you would like to share. The sky is the limit!

 
How Much Does it Cost:

Nothing! It’s FREE!

What Can I Win:

Unless otherwise stated, all prizes have been sponsored by Coffs Harbour City Council (via NSW Government Youth Week 2020 funding). We also want to thank Nambucca Youthie, Social Futures and Bellingen Youth Hub for their contributions.

1st Prize $500, 2nd Prize $250, 3rd Prize $100

6) Nambucca Shire – Macksville, Nambucca, Bowraville & surrounds – Sponsored by Nambucca Youthie

How do I enter:

    • Read the guidelines…and practise…!
    • Take a video of your awesome talent.
    • Complete the registration form – see below for the link to the form.
    • Email the registration form (which will include the video) to Gary Maher at headspace Coffs Harbour: gmaher@genhealth.org.au
    • Do all this before 5pm, Friday 26th June, 2020 which is the closing date for submissions.

Guidelines (or what can or can’t I do):  

        • Make sure you are eligible (if in doubt, please contact us).
        • All video submissions must NOT exceed 5 minutes.
        • Submissions cannot contain any content that exceeds a PG rating (which means NO swearing, homophobia , sexual themes, sexism, violence, racism, religious discrimination or any other inappropriate content).
        • No TicTok videos will be accepted.
        • If any of these guidelines are not followed, your video will not be submitted for the competition.
