To mark the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence in 2021, an online forum was presented by Warrina DFV Specialist Service, Samaritans and Liberty DFV Specialist Service, Kempsey Families Incorporated Specialist Support Service, supported by Blue Sky Community Services, NSW Police, Department of Communities and Justice, Mid North Coast Local Health District and many other organisations.

In addition to the Domestic and Family Violence Forum, a collection of DFV flow charts called ‘The 5 Rs’ was developed with input from Child and Family Interagency members and specialist DFV services across the Mid North Coast.

The 5 Rs flow charts are designed to support community partners who are working with children, young people, individuals and families, who are experiencing domestic and family violence.

The original 2020 forum was created to support the launch of these useful tools, which continue to be utilised and updated.
