Good Customer Service

It’s EVERYONE’S Business

The Good Customer Service Project works with local businesses to foster understanding of customers who have a disability and to provide skills and strategies for business owners and staff to deliver good customer service to people with disability. The Good Customer Service Project is funded by the NSW Department of Family and Community Services.

Good customer service is the cornerstone of every successful business. It builds a loyal customer base, increases customer satisfaction and helps businesses to grow and prosper. One in every three customers either has a disability or is close to someone who has a disability. Customers with disability have spending power just like any other customer.

Blue Sky Community Services worked in partnership with the Australian Network on Disability develop and deliver a Good Customer Service training package to businesses and customer service staff in the Port Macquarie Area.

The training focused on encouraging businesses to ensure their businesses and services are welcoming and accessible for people with disability so that all people can receive good customer service.
