About the NDIS:

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is Australia’s first national Scheme for people with disability. It moves away from the previous system of providing block funding to agencies and community organisations, to direct funding for individuals. Local Area Coordinators support people aged 7-65 with disability to achieve their goals, participate in their communities and to provide them, and their families and carers, with personalised, flexible care and support through the NDIS. Local Area Coordinators also support people through the NDIS application process & link with community and mainstream supports.

Blue Sky Community Services is a not profit community organisation. We create communities where everyone belongs and is valued. We are delivering the NDIS Local Area Coordination services across the Mid North Coast region.

Windaan exists to provide Aboriginal children and their family’s access to primary health, allied health, early intervention and disability services that meet their individual needs, in a culturally appropriate way. We deliver a unique a mix of traditional face-to-face services, with strategic use of social media and telehealth technology. This use of technology provides us with the opportunity to bring the services to the community, rather than expecting the community to come to us.

Northcott
: As a NDIS Partner in the Community to deliver Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) Services in NSW, Northcott works closely with families and carers of children aged 0-6 years to develop the skills children need to take part in daily activities and achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their lives. We support families who wish to better understand their child’s support needs, or have recently received a diagnosis of disability and are looking for support to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
