Glenyis James

Glen has over 35 years of practice and executive experience working in the community and mental health sectors in three states. Her roles include Executive Director of Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs for the Public Health Network, Western Australia State Manager of a national mental health organisation, CEO of a youth and family welfare service, CEO of regional community health service, AOD and HIV counselling, and Australian National Quality Assurance and Training Manager for an international corporate company. Glen’s work has included the development, leading and establishment of a number of innovative services and solutions supporting mental health, community and youth services. Glen has managed and navigated significant change management within primary and mental health Commonwealth and State government reform agendas. Glen is highly skilled in partnership and organisational development in addition to her extensive experience in quality accreditation and audit for the health, welfare and employment sectors. Glen holds qualifications in mental health, social welfare, AOD, management, training and assessment, quality review & audit and counselling.
