Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme

What we do

Our Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme connects trained volunteers with older people who may be socially isolated or lonely, providing regular visits that build genuine friendships and improve wellbeing. Through consistent connections, the programs helps to reduce loneliness, supports mental health, and enhances quality of life for participants, while also offering meaningful and rewarding experiences for volunteers.
We're currently recruiting for volunteers, of any age (over 18), gender or background. If you're interested, and want to find out more, fill out our expression of interest form by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.

Who it's for

The Volunteer Visitor Scheme supports older people living at home or in aged care residential facilities in the New England region.

How we assist you

Our volunteers maintain regular visitors to participants, helping to form connections and friendships that promote happiness and mental wellbeing, both for the volunteer and the participant.

Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
