Silent Spaces

Silent Spaces is an initiative designed to create inclusive, adaptable environments where people of all abilities can comfortably take part in community activities. Using wireless headphone technology, individuals can personalise their experience, whether that’s adjusting volume, minimising background noise, or engaging in a way that feels right for them.

Building on the concept of silent discos, Silent Spaces extends into a range of sensory-friendly experiences, including inclusive movie screenings, community events, and festival settings. These flexible environments help reduce sensory barriers and support more welcoming, accessible community participation.

By offering greater choice and control, Silent Spaces enables people with diverse sensory needs to engage in social activities with confidence. The initiative fosters inclusion, connection, and a stronger sense of belonging across the community.
