16 Days of Activism - Financial Abuse Awareness Training with WIRE

Upcoming

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is a global annual campaign held from November 25 to December 10, dedicated to raising awareness of violence against women and girls as a fundamental human rights violation. The campaign calls on individuals, communities, and organisations around the world to come together, demand accountability, advocate for prevention, and foster a culture rooted in equality, safety, and respect for all.

As part of our 16 Days of Activism campaign, we're joined by Yihan Li and Kareena Horsman from WIRE to discuss the warning signs of financial abuse, strategies for building financial resilience, and how to access local services for support and recovery. WIRE is a leading centre for gender and economic equity in Australia.

Blue Sky Community Services is hosting a series of five live webinars featuring thought leaders and influential practitioners who are making a significant impact in this field.
