Inclusive Learning through Drama can be implemented as a whole school project, offering 32 lessons assigned to each stage. The project includes individual lessons, assessments, tasks, marking rubrics, and a variety of additional inclusive teaching and professional learning resources.
This highly interactive unit comprises inclusive drama games, role-playing, character-building, play-building, performing and stage design, as well as encouraging and creating opportunities for students to think about how students themselves can create a more inclusive community.
All lessons aim to give students opportunities to learn in a variety of ways such as using Auslan, the five senses, performing as a diverse range of characters, engaging audiences through sensory and sound mediums and inclusive stage design.
