We are excited to announce that from 1 July, Blue Sky Community Services will be delivering the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) across the New England region.
The ACVVS connects trained volunteers with older people who may be experiencing loneliness or social isolation. Through regular visits and meaningful conversations, volunteers provide companionship, build genuine friendships, and help improve wellbeing and quality of life.
The program supports older people living at home and in residential aged care. It also offers volunteers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in their community.
We are currently recruiting volunteers aged 18 and over from all backgrounds. If you enjoy connecting with people and would like to make a meaningful impact, we would love to hear from you.
