What we do
We support people with disabilities within our community to build their capacities, at the same time supporting and encouraging other members of the community to be more inclusive towards them. Our Local Area Coordinators (LACs) provide personalised care and assistance to participants accessing the NDIS. The team assists them with receiving and understanding their funding and linking them to services that will support them in achieving their goals.
Who it's for
People with disabilities, carers, families, and the local community. Participants and families who are looking at supports available to help participants achieve their goals, such as improved independence and greater access to community.

Stories
Catherine reached out in late 2021 as she was no longer able to propel herself in a manual wheelchair, and she couldn’t lift her wheelchair in and out of her car as she had been doing previously. She didn’t have any informal supports, so was fully dependent on support workers for any community access.
