What we do
The Blue Sky team delivers the Targeted Earlier Intervention program across the Mid North Coast, partnering with services and communities to address local disadvantage. We facilitate a Child and Family Interagency, connecting service workers for collaboration and gap identification. Additionally, we provide sector resources through training, professional development opportunities, and information distribution.
Who it's for
Agency and community service workers who work with children, young people, families and communities with known or potential vulnerabilities.
How we assist you
We work in collaboration with organisations, community networks, industry partners and communities, to identify gaps, needs, skills and opportunities, to build capacity of the sector and the community they work in.
When we are available
Most activities are delivered Monday to Wednesday. The Child and Family Interagency meetings occur bi-monthly in each of the five regions we service (Coffs Harbour, Nambucca/Bellingen, Kempsey, Port Macquarie, MidCoast).
How to reach us
If you are a child and family sector worker interested in being added to our mailing list to stay up to date with meetings, events and opportunities or to promote your service, please email: sdo@bluesky.org.au.
What the team's been working on
We facilitated consultations with Mid North Coast domestic violence services, experiencing increased demand, to create localised 5 Rs Flow Charts for improved responses. We also co-hosted a community event in Bowraville, promoting local services and providing family-friendly activities.

“Blue Sky has organised some excellent events for the professionals in the community. I have been lucky enough to participate in the Bowraville Fun Day, the Cultural Walk at Bruxner and the Trauma-Informed Practice for Refugees online team training. We, as a team, want to say a big thank you for the excellent events you’ve organised and executed so professionally. We are very impressed!” Local Carers NSW
