What we do
The Youth and Family Service is a free service that works with young people and their families, parents and carers to ensure young people are safe and connected, and parents are supported to strengthen family relationships.
Our exceptional service offers a comprehensive range of individual and group support options, including information, advice and referral, family capacity-building activities (including parenting support), youth individualised support, education and skills-based programs, and social participation and community engagement activities.
Who it's for
Young people from 10 to 24 years and their families, parents and carers living in the Coffs Harbour area as well as delivering some activities in the Bellingen and Nambucca areas. We offer participation in activities, programs or events, and provide a safe place for young people to just ‘hang out’.

Stories
We coordinated and collaborated with our Youth Advisory Group and local services to deliver Parkfest, our main 2025 Youth Week event. It was a huge success attracting close to 400 attendees. There was live music from local musicians (mostly in the 18 to 24 years old age group), a skate comp, free food, and 18 service stalls offering a range of activities for young people to participate in.
